Here it is Fall Migration and my camera broke.
I have stocked in lots of beer, have some new music, but with my camera broken, am not happy.
I have seen a few Warblers, no photos - yet.
I dug out my old camera. It seems to be crap. That is strange as when I first aquired it, I believed it to be excellent.
Today on the porch playing Bobby Darin, a critter has joined me.
Here is my Branch and Frog Pond about 50 foot away. At the rear is a metal decoration my Bride gave me for Christmas. The old camera is not too bad.
Movement started behind the pond, and I believed it to be a Squirrel, but my binoculars showed it to be a rare Deer sighting. Deer are common here, and my neighbors complain as they eat their plants. Not me, I like to see them. I can grow new plants, in fact, have way too many. I don't see Deer very often as I sit out here.
To get a photo, the old camera had to spot focus at 60 foot through the bushes as I had it on auto. The old view finder and my old eyes are not good enough for me to manual focus at that distance.
Not too bad !
