I had some fun with the Eclipse, hope you did too! I hope you will post here about it here in comments or email me some photos and tales of your day.
This is a bird blog, and my goal was to capture birds during the Eclipse.
Ha Ha, actually my goal was to get drunk, play music too loud and watch girls dance naked. (2 of 3 happened, so calling it a win)
My dock floats and boats were making waves, so photos were impossible. Experts said a tripod was a must for this endeavor, but the bouncing dock did not work well with a tripod. After a case of cold beer, my hands were bouncing too, so I used the loud music get a sync rhythm going and got some fun photos.
To start, here is my Bride looking at me, and yelling that I had had enough beer (not possible). I could not hear her over my music, but got this reflection photo from her glasses.
I got a couple photos good enough to show something was happening with the SUN. I also launched a lot of fireworks to entertain the folks on the lake. Considering I just had my little "bird camera" on a bouncing dock - not to bad ~ These look much different at around original 15-20 megapixels as opposed to cut dow here to a few KB, but yall can get the drift.
