I do like and enjoy my squirrels. I have been feeding them for decades. My job is to give them guidance as to where to nibble. Their job seems to be to tell me -
In Winter I have a billion birds, but in Summer only a million.
To take up the entertainment slack, a young squirrel has decided I am no threat and comes to the CatBird house when I do as I bring peanuts. He has a buddy that also comes, but is more wary.
He is cute:
My cat Prancy is in her chair and watches. Crazy is aggressive when out here, and the squirrel wonders WTF? Crazy is about 15 pounds and prancy is 7 pounds, but she is the deadly one and boss of the house. As long as she just watches, all are happy.
Here is my Turtle Pond today as Summer approaches:
My Bride gave me this metal screen for my Frog Pond on my birthday - I like it!
Now the tiny squirrel is drinking water from the ant moat at a Humming Bird feeder even though I have a lot of water feeders out here.
Life in South Carolina is the best.
