Got up in the night and broke the middle toe on my right foot.
It is black and swollen, but to be honest, it does not hurt much when I run. I taped it to my other toes.
Eons ago I broke the hell out of my little toe running into my Nordic Track. Not cracked like this one now, the toe then was snapped to a right angle. In a panic and great pain, I jerked it back straight. Went to the clinic, they x-rayed and the Doc said, "Yep, your toe is broke". He thought that was funny. The treatment was just taping it to the next toe. This time around I saved the time and money of a Doctor visit.
Cooper River 10K was coming up. I had trained hard. I did OK. The only pain was on the two down hills. I don't think it slowed me at all.
