Hard for me to believe I am still on board with this endeavor, but today starts September, and I am still slogging along.
August was hot. The hardest thing for me is running early as I like to sleep until noon. I can't do that in the heat as I am not in shape for it. Maybe next Summer I will be.

There is not much noticeable improvement.
My times are a little better and my heart beat is a tad slower, but not much improvement yet. I believe muscles in my feet and legs are getting stronger.
My weight is still dropping about a pound a week.
Overall, I am still on pace with my schedule.
September is due to be more of the same, but perhaps I can add a longer 6 mile run in from time to time if it cools a little.
