My second week is in the books.
I am still going from the back of the yard to the front. I have discovered that distance is .14 miles with 42 foot elevation rise. It feels more like 14 miles and 420 foot gain.
I have increased to 2 miles the last couple days and ended with 11 miles for the week. It is mostly walking, but I am jogging here and there which is tough. I am using my Bowflex after all runs and doing light resistance work on my arms.
I don't expect to see much improvement for a few weeks. I understand how this works. I hope to be able to hit the local roads on May 1st.
For now I would say all is going good.
My average heart rate is around 130, more on that later.
