My starting weight was 205 pounds. I am 6 foot. I need to drop pounds, but that will not be much of a problem if I can do the training. I have a year, and unlike recent years, will now keep track of weight (and many other things). I will slowly improve my eating and beer habits. My weight must come down, but the real problem right now is my lack of regular exercise, and my current physical condition. I look good on the outside, but my inside is a mess.
First week I am walking fast in my yard from the rear to the mail box and back. One "up and back" takes me about 2 minutes and 45 seconds. I am doing ten repeats, so almost 30 minutes. Then I am doing light resistance work on my arms in 6 configurations of 15 reps. Any one reading this can join in and do that.
First week results:
5 days straight with the 10 laps and weight work.
Even this little bit has me a little sore and tired. My arms and legs are kinda achy in a good way. That tells me this is working.
I am off to the races!
