Last year I was a newbie and had high goals. "Time wise" --> I failed. On other levels, had some fun. Maybe I am too big to be a good foot racer?
I hope round two (2017) produces the same mental fun and less physical injury. My eye is healed, and I have two that mostly work. My guts are poked back inside where they belong (they still complain). My torn hamstring is much better after only 6 months - ha ha.
Right now my I have few excuses. My hamstring is sore but used to that. My knees hurt, but every one of my age has that. I did gain back ten of the forty pounds I lost and blame that on my gut surgery, but the truth is I love beer. I doubt I will give up beer to run a faster time.
As the New Year approaches need to aquire some goals for 2017.
All input is welcome.
