I love South Carolina and the people.
Jeep went to Gaffney today, and I tagged along.
There is a 100 foot climb in the first mile and 50 in the second. The finish is fast if you can still motor along. I know the course as decades back when I was a younger man, ran it a few times. I think it is a good course.

Today at 70, I was a joke, but finished before everyone went home.
I met the famous Robbie McClendon, and a friend from the past kicked also my ass -> Jack Todd. Back in the day I could hang with him. I bet Jack has raced this course 40 times.
It starts on the campus of Limestone College where my best friend went. She died a year back, so ... memories~
I need to just close my show down until I get this hernia cut and can actually train again. I keep back sliding as one races as he trains. I have no self-respect and no ego, so I probably will not stop racing as long as I can jog along and finish before the fat lady is singing. I get hope to get fixed next month and back to running before October. I see there is a race over in Pickens in two weeks, probably will go, but I hope not.
