I have posted this before, but I just feel guilty that so few know about PANDORA.

The music I like is ever expanding.  My favorites tend to be stuff from the 60’s but I am good anytime with most stuff from the 50’s and the 70’s.

I pick and choose from the new stuff often on the artist.  I like the beat of the old stuff, but when talent from any era presents itself, I am a fan.  There are some really great artists out there now, and some old ones you might have missed.  Recently I discovered an old British TV show – WOOSTER AND JEEVES -.  It is based around incredible music from the 30’s.   Actually Wooster is now the star of the popular TV show HOUSE.  I don’t care for it, but if you tune in and see the guy at a piano as  Wooster, you will be surprised.  The show has great music, and Wooster/House can do it.

       

You can get that at PANDORA and anything you come across.

I don’t need PANDORA as I have more songs than I can handle now, and mostly prefer to pull up the artist or type of music I want to hear from my computer.

Today I am sitting here with my favorite female singer – Bessie Smith – plugged into Pandora.  Yea, I am sure I have all her stuff in my computer, but Pandora will throw up songs with singers like her I might have missed.

Do like me – spend years collecting, or just go to Pandora.  Actually, do both.  Pandora will expose holes in your collection – then just go to ebay.

Yea, I know all the fonts are screwed up here, so just do the best you can at reading it.

We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative.

By the way, if you like the players in Jeeves and Wooster, check out the Black Adder TV series (especially the First World War one). Also if you use iTunes, they have the the 4 series available to download.
Stephen Fry also has a quiz show called QED that is hilarious.
I cant watch 'House' I cant stand his fake American Accent. If they wanted an American to play the part why not use one, why get a Brit to play the part? Weird!
